Local Government

Webber is a General Law township governed by a Township Board consisting of a Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and two Trustees. The Clerk and Treasurer each have a deputy. The township uses a land use plan which is designed to guide it’s long term development. This plan is implemented by Zoning Ordinances which are enforced by a Zoning Administrator. A Planning Commission consists of six residents appointed by the township board and one trustee representing the board and serves in an advisory capacity. The land use plan and Zoning Ordinances are available to the public at the township Clerk’s office.
